Who is responsible
No Briefs Club operates this site and decides what happens to the personal data collected through it. Contact for any privacy matter: hello@nobriefsclub.com, or through our contact page.
What we collect, and why
If you just read the site
Your browser sends us technical data automatically: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and which pages you looked at. Our host uses this to serve the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website.
If you accept analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles people actually read and where they arrive from. It only runs if you consent to it in the cookie banner. It sets cookies and processes usage data, including a truncated identifier tied to your device rather than your name. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time through the cookie settings on this site.
We have Google Consent Mode enabled, which means that until you accept, these tools are held in a restricted state and do not set analytics or advertising cookies.
If you buy something
Our shop runs on WooCommerce. To process an order we need your name, email, billing and shipping address, phone number where the carrier requires it, and the contents of your order. Card details are handled directly by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
Our products are made to order. To fulfil and ship them we pass the name and shipping address to our print-on-demand fulfilment partner and to the carrier. They receive only what is needed to make and deliver the parcel. Legal basis: performance of the contract you entered into when you placed the order, plus our legal obligation to keep accounting records.
If you email us
We keep the message and your address so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
If you comment on an article
WordPress stores the name, email and comment you submit, plus your IP address, for spam filtering. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the comment.
Cookies
We use three kinds:
- Strictly necessary — session, cart, checkout, login and consent-preference cookies. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site, and they do not require consent.
- Statistics — Google Analytics 4. Off until you accept.
- Marketing — set only if and when we run advertising or affiliate tracking that requires them. Off until you accept.
The consent banner on this site lets you accept, refuse, or change your mind later. Refusing does not restrict your access to anything.
Affiliate links and advertising
Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We may also show advertising supplied by third-party networks. Those networks may process data about your visit under their own privacy policies, and where they use cookies they only do so after you have consented. Who else sees your data
Only the parties we need to run the site: our hosting provider, our payment provider, our fulfilment and shipping partners, Google (for analytics, where consented), and our email provider. We do not sell your data. We do not trade it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoicing data — for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Analytics data — according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics, after which it is deleted automatically.
- Emails — while the conversation is useful, and then deleted.
- Comments — until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK, you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.
Ask by writing to hello@nobriefsclub.com. We will answer within one month. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Access to the systems holding personal data is limited and password-protected, and payment data is handled by our payment provider rather than stored by us. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we take the reasonable measures expected of a site of this size.
Children
This site is aimed at working adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will say so on the site.
